Thanks for both sections of the update. Illuminating. Regarding Trump’s plans I think the good and or bad news here is that there isn’t any plan, and it isn’t important to Trump. With all the other stuff he is doing Ukraine is old news. The good news is that Ukraine gets to fight Russia without US interference. The bad news? Same of course.
I too especially appreciated the bit about Zelenski’s background. I thought I knew more than I actually do on this. As always people are more multidimensional than we give them credit for.

You have things a bit mixed up regarding the first story. The ZSU-23 is a radar guided, armored anti-aircraft platform with a laser rangefinder, it's not the autocannon on your picture. That's the 2A7 and the ZSU-23 is equipped with four of them. There's no aiming with simple eyeballs involved.
