Stefan has it right. The republicans are responsible. The consequence is that America as a whole is failing to support Ukraine.

Democrats, Republicans, milquetoast Centrists... monitor the pundits in the USA for a while, and it ought to be obvious that none of them really back Ukraine or ever have. It's all rhetoric and gamesmanship for profit, as usual.

The stereotype of the German staff officer is rooted in reality. So is the one of the ugly, pompous, lying American con artist.

Shush, partisan. Biden is a craven coward, so is Trump, and RFK Jr. too.

Also, nearly every mainstream media outlet in the USA is blaming Republicans in the House. Even Republicans in the Senate. If you're gonna make rank partisan claims, at least pick decent ones.

As someone who saw the original on TV, I am impressed that Stefan knew Fawlty Towers. I guess John Cleese is quite famous. Here's the link, a bit dated but a true classic. I honestly dont think that call was intercepted by mistake. One of those officers on the call is either a mole or deeply connected to one
