Item 2: Battle for the Donbas
Is progressing fairly well. Research and main writing is done, we are working through final draft, polishing, moving things around, working on maps, and so on.
If you or a friend or relative fought in the campaign, and have a great story or two to tell, it’s not too late to get your recollections into print. Contact me by PM.
I think it’s fair to predict a publish date late this year.

You've taken the "Journalism is a first draft of history" a step further and provided/are providing a timely and valuable deep-dive into the Russo-Ukraine war. Writing these histories while that war is still ongoing allows you to gather info from sources who were 'in the room' and 'on the battlefield' - sources that may not be available/alive a few years later.
Glad to have had the chance to meet you all of 32 years ago. Very happy to see you making an impact on how the story of Ukraine's fight for survival is told. You've done good. I'll keep reading.
